Who is Attic?

Attic Self Storage is a limited company, established in 2006 with the aim of providing a high level of service to the self storage market. The founding directors, having experienced the self storage market themselves, came to the inescapable conclusion that all too often, customers were not getting either the level of service to which they were entitled, or complete transparency in what they were being charged for.

Attic Self Storage has one main aim: to simplify self storage, providing a high level of service that is simple and easy to use, with charges that are easy to understand. We believe strongly in transparency and so there are no hidden extras. We also believe in good service and so we will provide everything you need to make your move less stressful – we are a part of your move, and we want it all to go as smoothly as possible. And finally, we believe in fair value for money and fair competition, so we won’t over-charge you.

Frederic de Ryckman de Betz
(Managing Director)

Fred's background was in the City, but having always wanted to run his own business, he finally took the plunge in 2006.  He hasn't looked back since, and has established a successful self storage business in spite of the difficult economic climate.  Fred enjoys putting a smile on client's faces and seeing his staff contented!

Sonia Pirie
(Store Manager)

Sonia's background is also in the City.  Having "done that", Sonia also fancied a change and a new challenge, and by chance saw an opportunity with Attic.  An effective saleswoman with exceptional customer service, Sonia's priority is to ensure everything runs smoothly at the store - and it's a tight ship she keeps, as you'll see when you come down and pay us a visit! 

 Ikraam Kajee
(Assistant Store Manager)

Ikraam ("Ikky") is the joker in the pack, our secret weapon who's prime aim is to make sure clients leave with a smile on their face.  Whether you call or call in, you'll find Ikky doing everything in his power to put you at ease, to help you and to make sure your storage experience is one that leaves you smiling.

Wayne Sharpe

(Assistant Store Manager)

Wayne is the latest addition to the A-Team, and brings with him a wealth of experience in self storage.  Having worked at one of the large national chains and with an independent storage operator previously, Wayne knows and understands client's requirements, ensuring he can deliver excellent client service time and time again.
