The ground has broken for the works on our new reception! Thanks to Gary, Ray, Jack, Sean and the team at SAS, work is underway on our new reception and office space for our headquarters in Bow, East London. With an expected completion date of mid-June, we are all chomping at the bit to see the finished result.
The new reception will feature ample room for three staff, up from the current limit of two, in addition to a dedicated store manager's office right behind reception so our keen store manager can keep a keen eye on our keen team!! Building on our recent customer service award and our growing business, we are hoping the new space will provide a brighter, cleaner and less cluttered environment for our team and clients to meet and discuss storage and removal matters.
The new reception will feature plenty of glass, allowing for natural light and warmth from the sun, helping us with our commitment to the environment in several ways. It will also be a much smarter place to do business, and will offer a brighter space in which clients can browse our extensive range of boxes, packing materials and other bits and bobs they might find useful on a move.
In addition to the fantastic new reception space, we are also building a new office upstairs. Offering fantastic views of the Olympic Park in Stratford
, the new office will represent a huge leap forward in our working environment, which currently features one small office cramped with two desks and our servers. The new space will feature five desks comfortably (with a maximum of ten) in addition to a separate comms room and a brand new kitchen and WC. A just reward for all the efforts our hard-working team has put in to Attic over the past five years!
Watch this space for updates - we're looking at a completion date of mid-June, and will posting more photos in due course.
