Fred Spreads His Seed

It’s that time of year when our founder and CEO likes to get his special tool out in Wick Lane

Don’t worry, it’s a lot more innocent and community minded than it sounds.

Watch the attached (neither X-rated nor NSFW) video and you’ll see exactly what Mr. de Ryckman de Betz has been up to…

The ‘Hands On’ Approach

Our fearless founder inspires everyone at Attic Self Storage with his passion for the wildflower garden that surrounds our HQ in Bow. Every year at this time he oversees the cutting back of the long grass and takes personal responsibility for transforming the area by spreading his carefully selected wildflower seeds all over the barren ground.

The Secret’s In The Mixture

In just a few months the garden will be a riot of colour again thanks to Fred lovingly hand sprinkling a bee-friendly concoction of Cosmos, Larkspur, Echium, Cornflower, Musk Mallow, Ox Eye Daisy, Native Red Clover, Ribwort Plantain, Red and White Campion, Yarrow, Candytuft, Borage, Forget-Me-Not, Rough Hawkbit, Chrysanthemum, Mignonette, Calendula, Bird’s-foot Trefoil, Sweet Vernal Grass, Corn Cockle, Scented Mayweed, Cowslip, Meadow Buttercup, Ragged Robin, Common Sorrel, Sheep’s Fescue, Foxglove, Wild Carrot, Salad Burnet, Lesser Knapweed, Crested Dogstail, Dame’s Violet and a liberal amount of poppy seeds.

No, he hasn’t been sowing any wild oats.

FYI our Fred is happily married with two children and he’d like to keep it that way, you smutty-minded people.
