Self Storage Grows in London
Our Main Office and Reception Refurbishment Project is Now Finished!
We have finally completed our refurbishment project for our store in Bow, East London. Having invested a considerable financial sum and also put up with workmen, dust and works on site over a three month period, the team was very pleased to finally move in to the new space.
As well as providing more room to move and to their day to day work, the project gave the team the opportunity to enjoy working in a contemporary environment with floor to ceiling glass windows and shiny new, bright white cladding outside. The addition of air conditioning units has helped enormously, especially as they do offer warm air as well, which is particularly welcome in winter!
Frederic de Ryckman de Betz (Managing Director) said: “This refurbishment has been a long time coming. We occupy a fantastic location overlooking a main arterial route in to London, and we are finally able to leverage that location fully. The business is taken more seriously by our clientele, and staff morale has received a huge boost.”
With over 500 units currently available, the business still has space to grow and it will need to build more units as it is currently almost 100% occupied. Frederic added: “The pressure on space in London is evidenced by demand, with potential sites for self-storage few and far between. This is great news for yield and occupancy, particularly when you consider the downward trend for average unit sizes.”
