Storage terms and conditions

Our storage licence agreement

We use a form of storage licence agreement which is in line with that outlined by the Self Storage Association of the United Kingdom as a condition of membership of that organisation. The SSA UK has also worked with Trading Standards on the licence agreement, and this version of the licence agreement has been accepted by Trading Standards.

You will have agreed to our Storage Licence Terms & Conditions on sign-in.  Should you wish to view a copy, please log in to your account to see our latest terms and conditions. Alternatively, please contact your local store and a member of our team will be happy to assist you.

While clients always retain sole access to their secure, alarmed storage unit, you should keep in mind that we do have the right to exercise a lien over your goods. This means that in the event of non payment of rent, we are legally entitled to inventory the contents of your storage unit, with a view to disposing of these in order to recover costs and make the unit available for re-letting. While this is not a common occurrence, if you have any concerns please contact your local storage centre if you require more information.

Our insurance agreement

If you have taken cover under our AtticSafe(TM) policy, you will have been given a copy of your terms of cover on move-in. Again, this is available online if you log in to view your account. Failing that, please feel free to contact your local store, and we will send you a copy on request.
