Ambitious about Autism is the national charity standing with autistic children and young people. They champion rights, campaign for change and create opportunities through services across the UK, including specialist schools and colleges in London and the South East.
Their vision is a more inclusive society where every autistic young person can be themselves and thrive.
All Dogs Matter
Established in 2009, All Dogs Matter transforms the lives of unwanted and abandoned dogs in and around London. The charity rescues and rehomes around 400 dogs each year, while also supporting pet parents in crisis, promoting adoption over buying, and working to end the cruel cycle of breeding for profit.
Young Barnet Foundation
Young Barnet Foundation supports children and young people across the borough by strengthening local charities and youth organisations. They provide advice, training, fundraising support and networking opportunities to build capacity in the voluntary sector.
Working with local authorities and partners, their vision is for every young person in Barnet to grow up healthy, safe and happy with the best opportunities for a brighter future.
Southgate Mosque Food Bank
Southgate Mosque Food Bank supports around 150 guests each week, representing over 500 household members. Alongside nutritious food, they run a free community café and provide advice services to help with challenges beyond food insecurity.
Welcoming everyone with dignity and compassion, they see themselves as a “kindness bank” — creating a safe, caring space where people feel valued and supported.
