The awards recognise excellence across the European self storage industry, celebrating outstanding stores, campaigns, sustainability initiatives and the teams behind them.
This year, Attic has been shortlisted for Marketing Campaign of the Year, Multi-Site Operator Store of the Year and the Sustainability Award.
Marketing Campaign of the Year – Attic Ale

Our Attic Ale campaign has been shortlisted for Marketing Campaign of the Year.
Created to support the launch of our new Bermondsey store, the campaign saw us transform a 200 sq ft storage unit into a fully functioning micro-pub for one night, in partnership with local Southwark Brewing Company.
Inspired by the nearby Bermondsey Beer Mile, the idea was designed to show the versatility of self storage in a fun and memorable way, while creating a genuine connection with the local area.
The campaign generated eight pieces of media coverage with a combined reach of more than 60 million, helping introduce both Attic and the possibilities of self storage to a much wider audience.
Multi-Site Operator Store of the Year – Sunbury

Our Sunbury store has been named a finalist for Multi-Site Operator Store of the Year.
The facility represents the complete transformation of a dated former production site into a modern, state-of-the-art self storage store. Delivered in less than nine months from acquisition to trading, the site now offers more than 60,000 sq ft of storage alongside 24/7 app-controlled access and a range of facilities designed around our customers.
Customer feedback has been particularly strong, with 544 Google reviews and a 5.0-star rating at the time of submission.
Sustainability – Barking

Our Barking store has also been shortlisted for the Sustainability Award.
Sustainability was considered throughout the development and operation of the facility, which achieved BREEAM Excellent certification. The store is also operationally climate positive, with its solar panels producing more electricity than the facility consumes.
The nomination also recognises the social impact of the store. Initiatives have included local employment and work experience opportunities, volunteering, support for local charities and ongoing donations to a local foodbank.
Celebrating Our Teams
To be recognised across three very different categories is something we’re incredibly proud of.
From creating distinctive marketing campaigns and transforming buildings into high-quality storage facilities to improving the environmental and social impact of our stores, these finalist places reflect the work of teams right across Attic.
We’re looking forward to joining the wider European self storage industry in Wiesbaden this September and celebrating all of this year’s finalists.
